Après avoir laissé ce projet en sommeil quelques temps pour prendre des vacances amplement méritée et pour lancer mon blog perso, je me remet au travail avec la ferme intention de faire partir Phileas avant la fin du mois d'octobre.

The Phileas project has progressed a lot in the past few days. Last week, I found the enveloppe for Phileas, it's a highly resistant textile enveloppe with a zip fastener to close it and a small window to put the address. I think it should be able to withstand 5 years of travel! This week-end, I built the website using Joomla and I designed the template. I selected a hosting compagny and reserved the domain name. I still have to publish the site, adjust a few features, translate the site into French and finish the letter to be sent with Phileas. I hope to be able to start the trip of Phileas before the end of the summer. Regarding the destination, I still hesitate between Mali and Brasil. |

Ca y est , le site est en ligne. Après avoir pas mal hésité, j'ai finalement opté pour Joomla, le moteur de CMS libre, plutôt que pour une plateforme de blog genre Wordpress. La raison? D'abord je connais bien Joomla pour le pratiquer sur différents sites depuis quelques années, ensuite il permet de faire assez facilement un site en plusieurs langues. Ben oui parce que vous le côté international du projet, j'ai pas le choix, il faut que je fasse un site multi-lingue. Enfin pour commencer, je me limiterai au français et à l'anglais, après si des bonnes volontés veulent s'occuper de la traduction dans d'autres langues, on verra. En ce qui concerne l'hébergement, je l'ai pris chez 1and1 tout simplement parce que c'était le moins cher.
